Solar Thermal Integration

Solar Thermal Integration (1) (1)

TFA integrates solar thermal infrastructure with both existing and new palm oil storage and transfer systems to support more stable thermal conditions while reducing dependency on continuous diesel and electrical reheating.

The approach utilizes industrial solar thermal collectors — including Evacuated Tube Collectors (ETC), Flat Plate Collectors (FPC), or Concentrating Collector systems — selected based on the required operating temperature, thermal demand, process conditions, and site requirements.

The integrated infrastructure may include insulated thermal piping, circulation systems, thermal storage, heat exchangers, and controlled thermal distribution systems to support thermal energy delivery across storage tanks, circulation lines, and transfer operations.

By supporting more consistent thermal conditions throughout storage operations, solar thermal integration helps reduce repeated reheating cycles, improve operational stability, support continuous pumpability, and lower thermal energy demand across large-scale terminal infrastructure.

TFA can be integrated into existing facilities as a retrofit solution or incorporated into new terminal and storage infrastructure during the design stage to support long-term operational reliability and reduced reheating dependency.
